About Podcasts and Feeds
Ever wonder what that little button that says 'Subscribe' does?
Every time a new sermon or article is posted on this site, a file is created, summarizing the new content. Certain web-based and desktop applications can be configured to find those files and notify their users when the new content becomes available. We offer subscriptions for both our sermons and our articles.
Subscribing to podcasts
The simplest way to subscribe to our podcast is via Apple's iTunes. Once set up, iTunes will automatically download new audio sermons as soon as they are available. Just follow these simple steps:
- Download iTunes here: http://www.itunes.com/download/
- Install iTunes.
- Click here: Subscribe with iTunes. (You may have to tell your browser it's okay to launch iTunes.)
- Click the 'Podcasts' icon under 'LIBRARY' in the top left of the iTunes sidebar to view your subscriptions and check for new downloads.
- Double-click any file to play.
Subscribing to articles
There are a variety of services you can use to subscribe to articles. One of the easiest services is the Google Reader. To begin using the Google Reader to view our articles, click the 'add to google' button. (If you do not have a Google account, you will be asked to create one. Existing account holders and gmail users may sign in using their existing login information.)
