Youth Pastor Search Begins
Please pray that God blesses us with a great youth pastor in 2012. Do you know any quality youth pastor candidates? Please ask them to email their résumés to hr@huronhills.org. Our steering committee includes 3 teams; the pastoral leadership, interview, and hosting teams. Ken White and Tony Mlynarek are on the pastoral leadership team. Gary Court, Somrak Etnyre, Marcy Hires, John Oswalt, and Bill Sponseller are on the interview team, and the Logues and Wagners are on the host team.
Jamaa Update
As we learned from the film, “jamaa” means “family” in Swahili. Thanks to our Huron Hills jamaa, the Michigan Theater screening theater was packed this past Sunday with standing room only. Many sponsorships and donations have been received to help children in the most dire circumstances. This Sunday will be the last opportunity to view the child portfolios in the foyer prior to returning them to World Vision. Stop by if you would still like to sponsor a child or make a donation.
Make Us New
Our Spring Focus this year is called Make Us New, and features a coordinated message series, participant guide, and small group curriculum. These materials were developed by a team of Huron Hills volunteers and staff, and reflect our hope that renewal becomes part of our life in a deep way as we move forward in our mission in 2012. Make Us New begins with a special prayer and worship event on Wednesday, February 22, at 7pm. You can walk into renewal and the mission of our church as you join a small group, attend worship, and use the participant guide. Join us as we trust God together this spring!
Small Group Leaders Needed
Step out and lead a 6 week small group! Our Spring Focus will begin the week of February 26th. If you can welcome people into your home, apartment, or condo you can serve as a small group host for a special 6 week small group. We will grow together in a coordinated Message Series, Small Group Guide, and Participant Guide. Email Dave at DCollins@huronhills.org or Jill at JillClairis@gmail.com.

Multisite Vision Tours
The Multisite Launch Team invites you to join us for a vision tour! We believe God is leading us to put Huron Hills Site 2 in SouthWest Ann Arbor, and want you to literally see what we see so we can arrive at a settled sense of calling together. Our next congregational vision tour will be March 17 at 11am.
Pioneer Club Pine Car Race
The 2012 Pioneer Club Pine Car Races will include an “Open Class” this year for anyone interested in building a race car. If interested, please contact Diana Kuhl at diana@huronhills.org or Margaret Gaugler at mgaugler@huronhills.org to purchase a $5 Pine Car Kit before March 7th. The Pine Car Races will be held on Wednesday, April 25th at 7:00 pm.

HSC is taking Applications for Fall 2012-2013
The Home School Connection (HSC) is a local cooperative serving home school families more than an hour away from Ann Arbor in every direction! What's the draw? Although HSC serves students of all ages, we particularly focus on the needs of high school and middle school, with challenging classes, a predictable sequence of study, and student activities like Honor Society, Student Council, and many fine arts and enrichment activities, including a strong thespian guild.
