Huron Hills Church

Well today I spent the morning thinking about how to get the women at Huron Hills on board with our Girlfriends Unlimited program.  We have many groups that meet weekly, some meet quarterly, and some are still in the process of getting started.  There are even groups that are meeting regularly and I might not be aware of it, if this is the case and you are open to newcomers, please let me know and I can get the word out!   

As many of you may have been noticing, we are growing by leaps and bounds!  I was so excited to see 17 new members join the church this morning.  That is so awesome!  God is truly at work around us and now is the perfect time for us to come together and have a "meeting of the minds" so to speak.  I would love for us to get together for a potluck after church and discuss what is working within our program, what is not, and what can be added to help draw more participation and enthusiasm.  I would love your input on whether or not that is something you would come to.  We could make it quick, say an hour and a half, and it could make a world of difference in our ministry's success.

I have a great opportunity that I would love for you to prayerfully consider.  There is a Girlfriends Unlimited conference in Kokomo, Indiana April 17-18.  Get more info here.  If I can get a group of us to carpool to this event we could come back full of exciting ideas to put into place right here at Huron Hills.  I need to sign us up in early March so give it some thought and get back to me.  I know it is hard to get away sometimes but I can promise you that the time we spend together away from all the distractions will be well worth it!  If you are interested but the cost is holding you back, give me a call at the church, or email me and we can try to work something out.
