HH Kids Ministry

Our mission is to draw children into a close and living relationship with Jesus Christ. Or, in kids’ terms, to help kids be best friends with Jesus. We carry out our mission by combining the critical influences of the church and home to incite wonder, provoke discovery, and fuel passion in the hearts of the next generation.

Your Teammates

Rachel Lunning (rachel@huronhills.org) and Kristen Hamilton (kristen@huronhills.org) coordinate children's ministry, and would love to answer any questions you have. They will also be available on Sunday mornings, making kids and families feel welcome and cared-for.

Your First Visit

When you and your kids arrive for a service, make your way to our newly renovated HHKids area on the lower level of the building. A member of our team will meet you there and help you register your kids. This process can take a couple minutes, so please allow a little bit of extra time when you arrive. On subsequent visits, you’ll simply check-in your child at the kiosks located in the lower HHKids lobby. Our friendly hosts and HHKids staff will be happy to walk you through it.

How Does Check-In Work?

When you check-in your children, you receive their name tag as well as two claim tickets that you use when it’s time to pick them. As part of the registration and check-in process, we’ll ask for your cell phone number so we can contact you in case you are needed during the service.

HH Kids Classes

At 9:30 we have classes for babies through 5th grade every Sunday. At 11am K-5th start in the worship service and are excused after worship to go to their own class downstairs.

Babies & Toddlers

Our goal is an environment where babies, toddlers, and parents feel comfortable and secure. We are staffed with caring volunteers who are focused on making sure children are cared for loved and accepted.

Preschoolers (3-5 year olds) are getting their very first look at who God is and what his love means to them, so all of our hands-on activities, games and stories are geared toward helping them experience and connect with the life-changing truths of the Bible.

We seek to give k-5th grade kids a sense of community and a creative and engaging learning environment.

God’s Word comes alive in both large group and small group settings.
