Join a Home Group!
Home Groups at Huron Hills Church are the best way to get to know others as you do life together and look at God's Word or Bible-related resources in community. Check out our Home Group station in the Lobby or e-mail JulieMEsch@yahoo.com for more information.

Thanksgiving Bags!
Every year Huron Hills gifts a Thanksgiving meal to local families in need. Schools and organizations have come to rely on these meaningful and practical gifts from our church family. Grab a few bags for yourself and your neighbors to fill from the lobby or HHKids (downstairs), and return them complete with the needed items by November 5th. Or, donate the cost of a bag ($25) and our team will fill the bag on your behalf.

Welcome to Alpha!

A 6-week, dinner-included, Wednesday night series starting Nov. 1 at 6:00pm. This will give you a taste of the world-renowned Alpha course. Wherever you're at in your spiritual life, it is a great series to experience.

  • Exploring? Alpha will help you think deeply about questions you may have.
  • Newer Christian?  Alpha will help solidify you in your faith as you go deeper.
  • Long-time Christian?  Alpha will help you engage with your faith well as you also think about how to engage with those far from God, potentially even using Alpha in the future yourself.

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. It helps us think about how to thoughtfully engage together. Alpha is all around the globe, and everyone is welcome.

Welcome to Alpha at Huron Hills Church
Wednesdays at 6:00pm w/Dinner
Starting Nov. 1, for 6 weeks
(skipping Thanksgiving week).
Room 216A/B

*Sign up in the Lobby or via your HHC E-mails*

All Church Work Day
November 11, 8:30am–12pm
Bring rakes, tarps, wheelbarrows, and even chainsaws to help get our campus ready for winter! We'll mostly focus on leaf removal, but there's some brush that needs to go as well! It's a great day when all ages can connect and serve together. Bring your family, small group, neighbors, get outside and enjoy some coffee and donuts too!

Board Connection
Thank you to all who attended our budget meeting last week! We had a great meeting in which people provided feedback about the draft budget and questions were answered. If you have feedback on the draft budget, please talk with a Board member or send a message to churchboard@huronhills.org. A final version of the budget will be sent out via email the Friday before the vote. Members, please note that the budget vote will be on Sunday, November 5, 2017.

Help Welcome New Attenders to the HHC Family with Hospitality!
Would you like to help extend the 'welcome mat' to new attenders at Huron Hills Church? Do you enjoy hosting people for meals at your home? If you are an HHC member/regular attender who would like to be on an e-mail list/rotation that could allow you to connect occasionally with a new attender to invite to your home for a meal, we'd love to hear from you. E-mail Community Life Director Kurt Heinold at kurt@huronhills.org.
