Weekly Update Dec 14, 2017

Prayer Focus
In this season of expectation and hope may we prepare our hearts to welcome and worship Christ Jesus Messiah into the bustle of our lives and the hard to find moments of solitude.

In this season, Lord, show us the world through your eyes. Take away our greed and humble us to give as you gave. Show us your ways and teach us your paths that we might walk with your more closely so that our lives will reflect you in attitude and action. Amen

Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of Grace and truth.

Snow Patrol Volunteers Needed

Your HHC Properties Ministry Team is looking for volunteers to take ONE weekend this winter to be responsible to remove snow from the walks around the church and the Lodge and to keep the areas near the doors clear of ice during the Sunday morning activities.

This is a Saturday/Sunday AM only responsibility. We have great equipment and will train you to use it. This could perhaps be a Home Group, parent/child activity, or done as an individual.

If you are willing to volunteer for an upcoming weekend this winter, please email Brad Davis at bzdavis1@comcast.net.  *We will have a short training this Sunday immediately following the service, and also on January 7 after the service.  Meet near the front entry doors by the office.*

Be a part of the Snow Removal Team at Huron Hills!
